Missing Alabama Mom of 4 Found Dead; Boyfriend Arrested – Crime Online

An Alabama mother of four believed kidnapped at the site of a Birmingham traffic accident has been found dead.

Nakita Davidson’s body was found shortly after 3 p.m. on Friday, inside her burgundy Saturn Outlook in a wooded, dead-end area, WBRC reported.

Davidson was last seen around 2 a.m. Thursday, as CrimeOnline reported. Shortly after that sighting, police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at 6th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. When they arrived, however, only one vehicle was on the scene and no people.

Police did find evidence of a possible assault and a pink Nike shoe that they used to ultimately identify Davidson. The believed the 40-year-old Davidson was injured and possibly kidnapped from the crash scene.

Birmingham Police Sgt. LaQuitta Wade said that investigators believe Cedric Dwayne Robertson, her 37-year-old boyfriend, put her inside her car and drove away. Robertson was arrested early Friday evening.

“It has been very heartfelt, it is sad,” said Wade. “It is a very, very sad situation. It is a sad day and it bothers us deeply because Nakita had four children who will be without a mother.”

Robertson was initially charged with kidnapping, AL.com said. More charges are expected.
