Dearborn police in Michigan are asking the public for assistance in locating a 28-year-old mother and her 3-year-old daughter, who vanished on October 28.
According to police, Jordyn Wise and her daughter were last spotted at the Children’s Hospital in Detroit. Investigators said Wise had a confrontation with family members before disappearing, The Detroit News reports. Family members added that she may be going through a mental health crisis.
“We are diligently attempting to locate this young woman to check the welfare of her and her child since first learning of their disappearance,” Dearborn Chief of Police, Issa Shahin, said, Fox 2 reports.

Wise is described as a Black female who stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 190 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.
