Missing Teen’s Dad Says Mom & Stepdad ‘Are not talking to me’ – Crime Online

The father of a Tennessee boy who vanished late last month said it’s been weeks since he’s heard from the boy’s mother and stepfather.

Seth Rogers told NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas that Sebastian Rogers’ phone was found in the kitchen of his Hendersonville home after his February 26 disappearance. The missing 15-year-old lives with his mother and stepfather, Katie and Chris Brownfoot, who claimed the teen left the home barefoot and without his phone.

Seth Rogers — who has conducted searches for his son — said he hasn’t spoken to the Brownfoots about the ongoing investigation.

“I haven’t spoken to them for two weeks. They’re not talking to me,” he told NewsNation.

Chris Proudfoot told Nancy Grace during Monday’s “Crime Stories” that he was almost four hours away in Memphis, working on a construction project at St. Jude when Sebastian Rogers disappeared. “On or about 6:20 a.m.,” he contacted 911 after his wife told him the teen was missing.

Katie Proudfoot said there were no family altercations at the time, but Grace questioned Chris Proudfoot regarding a spanking incident he discussed during a YouTube livestream with “Chronicles with Olivia.”

“Sebastian got caught lying…I gave him a swat with a belt on his buttocks on the outside of his clothes, one swat,” Chris Proudfoot told Grace, adding that it happened several years ago, “one and only one time.”

He also claimed that the incident “did not turn into a CPS service call.”

NewsNation reported that the United Cajun Navy and Texas EquuSearch are assisting in the search for Sebastian Rogers, who has autism.

Sebastian Rogers is described as a white male who stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs between 106 to 108 pounds. He has dirty blond hair and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants. His flashlight keychain is unaccounted for.

Anyone with information regarding Rogers’ whereabouts should call the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-451-3838 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
