Molly O’Connell and Kory Keefer are taking things in an interesting direction on the Southern Charm Season 11 premiere.

As seen in a preview for Season 11, Episode 1 (set to air Wednesday, Nov. 19), the Winter House alum makes his way to Molly as she laments running late for band practice while the two are at Madison LeCroy’s outdoor baby shower (along with fellow guests Austen Kroll, Rodrigo Reyes, Salley Carson, and more of the Southern Charm-ers).

Molly then proceeds to explain to Kory that she plays the miniature tuba (also called a euphonium) for the Charleston Concert Band. The pair laugh over Kory referring to the brass instrument as a “mini trombone,” coupled with Molly’s attempts to make a sound of the euphonium with a blow into her fist. It appears the flirt game is high, as they exchange a few light touches and continue laughing at the bar. At one point, Molly tells the fellow Bravoleb, “Yeah, and I spit all up on that thing.”

“Kory’s a huge flirt,” Molly later explains to producers. “I mean, he’s hot in like a … f–kboy way.”

Rodrigo stands back, watching with amusement, including when Kory jokes to Molly, “So, when I come over your house tonight, are you going to play the trumpet or the trombone?” Then, when Molly suggests that Kory instead hold her pet snake, he replies, “You can hold mine.”

“Oh, wow, shiny, toxic f–kboy,” Molly continues in her confessional. “Like, my therapy apparently is not working very well if this is who I think is cute.”

Madison comments to Craig Conover that Molly and Kory look “really cute” in their exchange, and even Craig admits, “Kory, I knew, would like her.”

Details on Molly O’Connell’s love life

Molly O’Connell made it crystal clear after joining the cast in Season 10 that she had a crush on Shep Rose. At the time, she said, “Shep is undeniably a handsome man. He’s extremely intelligent; He’s very open-minded … Overall, I think Shep is definitely up there for me.”

Molly’s feelings eventually found Shep, who was involved with Miss Bahamas pageant queen, Sienna Evans, until things fizzled out during the cast’s Season 10 trip to the Bahamas. It was during that trip that Molly declared she was “celibate” after not having sex in over a year.

Fast forward to the Season 10 finale party, when Molly and Shep shared a kiss to the cheers of the rest of the cast. As Shep revealed on the Southern Charm After Show, “Everyone was rooting for it, everybody was like, ‘Do it! Do it!”

Later, at the reunion, Molly told Andy Cohen that things continued after the party. “I mean, we might’ve hung out after,” she teased, before Shep chimed in, “We had some adult fun.” Shep admitted they later shared one more rendezvous before he left for a months-long trip.

What to expect from Molly O’Connell on Southern Charm Season 11

While fans will have to wait to see if sparks progress between Molly and Kory, she’ll undoubtedly have her work cut out for her as Season 11 of Southern Charm continues. As stated in her bio’s description, “Molly continues to charm with her quirkiness. As her music career continues to take off, she struggles with a fear of singing publicly. However, she’s fearless in calling out Salley for not being a girls’ girl.”

More to come as the Southern Charm-ers reach new heights in their drama.
