The model/musician revisited the topic at BravoCon 2025, just months after she and Shep kissed in the Season 10 finale of Southern Charm. While it looked as though the pair were possibly heading toward something more serious, their romance ultimately fizzled out before the Season 11 premiere. And, no, it wasn’t because of any drama. According to Molly, she and Shep knew it was better to keep their relationship strictly platonic.

“I think we are just better as friends,” Molly told Entertainment Tonight. “I think on paper, all of it makes sense, but it’s Shep at the end of the day. But I love Shep. He’s so much fun. We had a fun time — a good time, not a long time.”

Molly O’Connell & Shep Rose reveal what went down after their Season 10 kiss

The two shed more light on their brief romance during the Season 10 reunion special, revealing what went down after they smooched at the finale party.

“I mean, we might’ve hung out after,” Shep said. “We had some adult fun.”

“You did?” host Andy Cohen asked Molly. “Did Shep leave you satisfied?”

“Yes. I mean, I had fun,” she replied.

“Well, then why didn’t anything happen after that?” Andy wondered. “Or did it?”

Shep revealed he and Molly hooked up “one more time” after the Season 10 finale, but didn’t see much of each other in the following months, as he was out of town throughout the fall.

Andy then turned his direction to Madison LeCroy, asking if she thought Shep and Molly “could be a love match.” Madison smiled and took a few moments before delivering a very diplomatic answer: “This version of Shep, yes,” she replied.

Molly O’Connell addresses her connection with Kory Keefer

Molly entered Season 11 single and apparently ready to mingle. As seen in the November 19 premiere, she had a flirty exchange with Winter House alum Kory Keefer.

“Kory’s a huge flirt,” Molly said in a confessional. “I mean, he’s hot in, like, a f–k boy way… Like, my therapy apparently is not working very well if this is who I think is cute.”

Molly O’Connell teases Southern Charm‘s “dramatic” Season 11

So, what else can viewers expect from Molly in the upcoming episodes? Well, she told ET that Season 11 was “extremely eventful” and “dramatic,” so much so that she was nervous to see it play out on TV.

“I’m a little stressed out to watch it back,” she said, before teasing what she had in store for the season. “I think if you knew me in my 20s, you know that I can pop off and get a little crazy, but I think a lot of people haven’t seen that from me, so I think maybe some anger comes out, and I might surprise people.”
