A new year is fast approaching, and Southern Charm-er Molly O’Connell has big plans for the future.
The baritone horn instrumentalist spoke exclusively with The Daily Dish (alongside Shep Rose) about what’s in store for her career, and it’s all related to music. “I’ve gotten back into music after quitting for a really long time, so that’s been my new career move, if you will,” she shared. “Just, like, facing my fears and singing and playing the euphonium, but the singing has been a lot more fun lately.”
But, as Molly’s fear of singing publicly pervades in Southern Charm’s 11th season Shep said, “We all went and watched” Molly sing at Austen Kroll and Craig Conover’s very own By The Way restaurant in Charleston. According to Molly, “almost everybody” showed up.
What’s more, Shep teased a residency at the beloved hotspot. As Molly put it, “We just renewed it until March, so I’m doing like two Sundays a month at By the Way.”
There, fans can watch the Bravoleb sing a variety of tunes, including those by Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, and Joni Mitchell. “A lot of fun stuff,” Molly said.
What does Molly O’Connell do for a living?
On May 15, 2024, Molly took to Instagram to look back at her time on ANTM, stating, “Don’t ask me how I did it, I just did it. It was hard.”
Molly’s modeling career has reached far and wide, according to her agency profile, putting her in magazines such as Vogue Knitting, Fuzion, and Stella Nova, among others.
Details on Molly O’Connell’s relationship ahead of 2026
In a separate interview with The Daily Dish, Molly confessed to having a new man in her life. “I have been recently dating someone for the past few months. He’s my boyfriend.” What’s more, since music is such a big part of Molly’s very being, it wasn’t terribly surprising that the new boyfriend was actually a guitar player, she spilled on the Dec. 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Shep, once again by Molly’s side for the WWHL sit-down, referred to Molly’s mystery man as a “very talented” musician who’d worked with Molly in the music-making department (no pun intended).
“We’re very happy about this … They’re in a band together,” Shep told Andy Cohen. “That always works, right?”
Andy, for his part, jokingly put his money on Molly’s new relationship lasting longer than the “adult fun” she had with Shep after Season 10 stopped filming.
