A Brooklyn woman was arrested on Sunday afer police found a 1-month-old baby dead in her home.
New York Police said Gynae Kendall was charged with concealment of a corpse after police were called to her apartment on Saturday evening, WPXI reported.
The baby was identified as Adonnys Kendall.
WPXI said that police said Kendall and the baby they identified as a boy lived in the home but their relationship was unclear. The New York Post, however, said the baby was a girl who was found in the mother’s Brooklyn apartment after the mother’s mother called police for a welfare check.
Police sources told the Post the infant was stuffed into a bag.
The New York Daily News also identified Adonnys Kendall as a baby girl and that her mother had been arrested.
