A Georgia mother of four was found dead in her home last week, and a suspect has been arrested.
Cobb County police have not identified the suspect or said how Melinda Jolly died, WSB reported.
According to a GoFundMe, Jolly moved to Georgia from California in 2019 after her then-husband died from cancer. Family had been concerned for her welfare and “calling the police department where she lives so that they could send police officers to her house to do welfare checks.”
The last check came on Monday, and Jolly was found dead by a cousin on Wednesday.
While police have provided no information about the suspect, the family said he was found and arrested in Florida.
Jolly is survived by a 22-year-old son, an 11-year-old daughter, and 4-year-old twin boys who are now in the care of an aunt and uncle.
