Mom Says of Man Who Repeatedly Abused Her 11-Year-Old-Daughter – Crime Online

A Texas man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl for more than six years.

The victim reported the assaults to elementary school staff on November 17, claiming Andrew Aubry, 37, started abusing her when she was five. She said Aubry would abuse her while her mother worked or was not home, according to KWTX.

McLennan County police interviewed the victim’s mother — who allegedly stated her daughter was lying and Aubry was an “idiot, immature, and inappropriate, but not a sexual predator.” She also said Aubry has not had a job in five years and stayed home to care for her children, KWTX reported.

According to the news outlet, the 11-year-old described how Aubry sometimes sexually assaulted her after he came home “stumbling” drunk. She reportedly said she would stay in her room to avoid Aubry when he was home.

The victim’s mother allegedly told police that her daughter lied about being sexually assaulted so she could move in with her grandparents.

According to KWTX, police called Aubry several times but could not get ahold of him. He later called detectives and refused to speak with them under the advice of his lawyer.

Despite this, Aubry was eventually arrested and charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child. Child Protective Services removed the victim and her two siblings from their mother’s home three days after the initial report, according to KWTX.

The Waco Tribune reported that Aubry was released on a $75,000 bond on Monday.
