North Carolina authorities are looking for a woman who has been missing since last week.
Frezja Baker, 31, has not been seen or heard from since she was spotted at the Cookout and Quick N E-Z Food Mart, both in Charlotte, on December 4. WSOC-TV Baker had called family and said she was an hour away, but she never arrived.
Though additional details regarding her disappearance are scarce, Baker’s family told WCNC that she was last seen with a male associate.
Charlotte detectives said she drove away from the food mart in her gray-blue 2004 Honda Accord with a South Carolina temporary plate HBL5984A.
Baker was described as standing 5 feet 4 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt with “Panthers” on the chest in white and blue. She was also wearing dark-colored leggings and white shoes.
Baker’s father told WCNC that police had searched a wooded area near the food mart where his daughter was last seen.
“She’s alive. I’m not going to think anything negative. We are going to find my daughter,” he told the news outlet.
Anyone with information regarding Baker’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
