Monique Samuels is making her her highly-anticipated return to The Real Housewives of Potomac for Season 10.
In the just-dropped trailer for the upcoming season, she’s immediately forced to confront rumors about her now-ex-husband Chris Samuels when Ashley Darby accuses Stacey Rusch of “trying to get” with him.
Monique’s response? “Yeah, my ex-husband? No. We’re not doing that.”
Elsewhere in the trailer, Dr. Wendy Osefo brings up the last time RHOP fans saw Monique: at the Season 5 reunion.
“The last time I saw you, you had a binder,” she says, referring to Monique’s historic binder of receipts.

Why did Monique Samuels and Chris Samuels break up?
The Seasons-2-through-5 Housewife explained in a July 2023 interview that prior to her and Chris’ divorce, she weighed the pros and cons of staying married to the former NFL player. With the help of a counselor, Monique realized she was “miserable.”
She explained: ”It wasn’t just all on him, it was also just with myself, dealing with my own issues and trauma, understanding myself and why I respond and react the ways I do, going through my childhood. Y’all, I’ve done some work.”
Monique welcomed an era in which she embraced even the parts she didn’t love about herself. Looking back, she added, “Oh, my God. It has been quite a ride. But I was determined to really do the work and grow. And the more I grew, and the more I started to realize myself, and I started to create boundaries for myself, that’s when I knew I am no longer the person that I was when I walked down that aisle 11 years ago. You get to the point where you just accept the fact that this is the fact. Like, this is where it is, you know? And that’s what led me to the point where I was like, ‘You know what, I think [this] is what will be best.’”

Monique is thriving both as a mother and a businesswoman. Regarding the latter, she’s the proud founder of Mila Eve Essentials, a business primarily dealing with essential oils for healing, skincare, bath time, and more, per its website.

She’s also wasted no opportunity to travel, writing on Instagram, “I feel most alive when I’m traveling the world.”
In doing so, Monique has shared awe-inspiring picture after awe-inspiring picture. Over the years, she’s taken in stunning views of waterfalls and swung over the jungle canopies of Bali, and also had her kids with her when dining with the giraffes and zebras of the African savannas on Tanzania.
