Morgan Wade Announces New Album, The Party Is Over Recovered

How to Watch

Morgan took to Instagram on May 28, where she revealed that she is coming out with a new album, The Party is Over (recovered), later this summer. This album will feature songs that are demos and early recordings from the early days of Morgan’s career, long before she put out her debut record, Puppets with My Heart in 2018, in addition to some new ones.

“A lot of you have been here for a long time listening and supporting me,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “That means some of you were here before I ever put out my debut record. You heard songs that were demos and early recordings that no longer exist. I wanted to put these songs back into the world and give them life again. Showcase that chapter of my life, and throw in some new songs, too. While these songs might be new to a lot of you, they are old friends to some of you — definitely old friends to me. Hope you enjoy and thanks for everything.”

Although she didn’t leave a comment, Kyle showed her support to her friend by liking the post announcing the release.

When will Morgan Wade’s new album be released?

Morgan’s new album, The Party is Over (recovered) will be released on August 1. The album will feature 11 different songs, including the title track, “The Party is Over,” which is out now.

Morgan also teased her new single across Instagram posts and used the lyrics of the title track to highlight key moments from the song. She captioned one post, “Anything is better than the silence,” and wrote in the caption if another, “The party is over…tonight.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member also showed her support for the new single, liking both of Morgan’s Instagram posts where she shared snippets of the song. “When the lights all dim and the party is over, and I still, baby, I still want you when I’m sober,” Morgan sings in the song.

Kyle Richards talks about her friendship with Morgan Wade

Kyle more recently spoke about her friendship with Morgan during the RHOBH Season 14 reunion. During Part 2 of the reunion, Kyle noted that she chose not to talk about Morgan throughout the season of the show because of her four daughters, even though Morgan briefly appeared on RHOBH Season 13.

“I’m not going to, for example, say something that is going to affect my daughters’ lives for a TV show, for a network, for fans, for ratings, ever,” she explained. “So, if it’s going to hurt somebody that I love and that I care about, I don’t care.”
