Naked California woman Sequoia Dunkinsell arrested after firing rounds at passing cars’Â According to San Francisco prosecutors, a naked California woman who opened fire at passing cars on the Bay Bridge last week has been charged with assault with a semi-automatic handgun and other offenses. Sacramento resident Sequoia Dunkinsell is accused of shooting into the hectic afternoon traffic on July 25, as reported by ABC7 News.
All lanes of Interstate 80 heading eastward were briefly closed due to the gunfire near the toll booth. Dunkinsell is charged with shooting bullets into the air and towards commuters, clogging the roads. About 1.5 hours after the shooting started, the California Highway Patrol took her into jail. No recorded injuries exist.

Who is Sequoia Dunkinsell?
Sequoia Dunkinsell, 32, exited her vehicle naked and opened fire at passing vehicles on Interstate 80 near the Bay Bridge Toll Plaza last week. According to San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins, Dunkinsell was accused of uttering criminal threats, shooting at an engaged vehicle, three counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, one count of negligent discharge of a firearm, four counts of brandishing a firearm, one count of having a loaded firearm in her possession, and one count of reckless driving.
Dunkinsell entered a not-guilty plea to all charges on Tuesday, August 1, when she appeared in court for her arraignment.

What did Sequoia Dunkinsell do?
On July 25, commuters on the Bay Bridge called 911 at around 4.40 pm to report that someone was driving a vehicle carelessly on Interstate 80’s westbound lanes. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver pulled over on the bridge, got out, brandished a knife, and yelled at other drivers.
Dunkinsell allegedly got back in the vehicle but quickly came to a stop next to the toll booth. She then came out of the car naked holding a revolver, and started shooting into the air and at other cars, stated the CHP. Dunkinsell was taken into custody close to the Interstate 880 transition before 6 pm. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 11. According to the DA’s Office, Dunkinsell is now in prison and no bail was set by the court. She may spend more than 22 years in state prison if found guilty of all charges.
