Nancy Guthrie Case Handed to Task Force, Search Reaches Day 30 – Crime Online

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department in Arizona said over the weekend that the case of missing Nancy Guthrie has been handed over to a task force.

The task force, including “Pima County homicide detectives and FBI agents,” has been established in connection with the 84-year-old’s disappearance from her Catalina Foothills home, FOX 10 reports.

The sheriff’s office added that it is “refocusing resources” to detectives as authorities continue to investigate leads, tips, and videos.

As CrimeOnline reported, family members said Nancy, the mother of “Today” show host, Savannah Guthrie, was last seen on January 31, after having dinner at her daughter Annie Guthrie’s residence.

Family members then dropped Nancy off at home, and reported her missing the following day when she failed to show up for church.

FBI Director Kash Patel posted photos and videos of a potential armed suspect.

Meanwhile, Savannah Guthrie, arrived at Nancy’s home Monday, during a somber moment in which she and her siblings laid flowers outside, marking her first appearance at the residence since her mother vanished.

The Guthrie family is currently offering a reward of up to $1 million for Nancy’s return. Savannah stated on Instagram that the reward will be provided as long as Nancy’s recovery is “consistent with FBI criteria for payment of its reward in this case,” which can be found here.

“You can call the 1-800 tip line. You can be anonymous if you want,” Savannah said.

“Please – be the one that brings her home.”
