Nancy Guthrie Neighbor Spotted Mysterious White Van in Neighborhood Days Before Disappearance – Crime Online

The neighbor of missing Arizona grandmother Nancy Guthrie says he spotted a mysterious white van in their neighborhood, days before the 84-year-old’s disappearance.

According to the New York Post, neighbor Brett McIntire, 72, who lives across the street from Nancy in the Catalina Foothills community, said he reported the incident to police. He couldn’t, however, recall the exact day he spotted the van.

“It was somewhere on that street. It was a white van, full-sized, with no printing on the sides. It was parked on the street,” he said. “Normally people that are coming to work on your home will have a company vehicle or, if they’re independent, something written on it.”

“From now on when I’m going out and about, I’ll have a paper and pen and record anything unusual.”

Nancy Guthrie, the mother of “Today” show host, Savannah Guthrie, was last seen at home, shortly before 10 p.m. on January 31, as CrimeOnline reported. Her family reported her missing at around noon on February 1, after she missed church.

“We do, in fact, have a crime,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said Monday.

Investigators later found blood on her front porch, confirmed to be Nancy’s. Officials said that around 1:47 a.m. on February 1, Nancy’s doorbell camera had been disconnected. At 2 a.m., Nancy’s pacemaker pinged her phone.

At around 2:12 a.m., security camera software detected movement, Nanos said, although he could not confirm where the movement came from.

“We know there’s something going on in that house, regardless of what law enforcement is willing to say,” “Crime Stories’ reporter Dave Mack told Nancy Grace.

On Wednesday, Nanos stated he believes Nancy Guthrie is still alive, although he admitted that “we have nothing else to go on but the belief that she is here.”

So far, no suspects or persons of interest have been named.

The FBI said a $50,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to Nancy Guthrie.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324). Tipsters can also contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department tip line at 520-351-4900.
