After deckhand Joe Bradley and stew Kizzi Kitchener exchanged a late-night kiss that was caught by Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 producers and cameras, they were forced to come clean with Joe’s boatmance partner, Victoria “V” SanJuan, who was off the yacht temporarily due to illness. But instead of laying low, in the above preview of Episode 16 (airing Jan. 12 on Bravo), Joe and Kizzi continue their flirtatious ways, and bosun Nathan Gallagher isn’t happy about it.

It all starts when Joe acts as a DJ during a yacht rave for the guests, and Kizzi pretends to be an adoring fan. “I’m in love,” she fawns exaggeratedly, and dances against him. “Oh my gosh, I love you! I’m your biggest fan!”

The exchange doesn’t go unnoticed by V and Nathan, and V begins cleaning the yacht to avoid seeing Joe and Kizzi together. When Nathan asks if she’s okay, she assures him she’s “alright,” but Nathan reminds her, “I’m here for you if you need me.”

As the guests head below deck for the night, Joe tells Kizzi he’s not going to tiptoe around V.

“It’s just like, Victoria, give me a break, man. Yeah, we tried something. It didn’t work out. Cool. Yeah,” he tells her, and then adds of he and Kizzi, “We can have a laugh and a joke. End of story.”

But then Nathan steps in with his thoughts on the uncomfortable situation, telling Joe what’s unfolding is not okay. “It’d probably be best if you f—king just be mindful on the night out,” he suggests.

Joe, for his part, defends his actions to Nathan, pointing out that he and V ended their boatmance. “We’re not together. Obviously, she wants something more. If you get affected so much like this, then it’s wrong. You are looking for something serious, you know?” he reminds him.

Nathan refuses to hear Joe’s justifications, though. “Just stop. I wouldn’t do that to one of my friends,” he reprimands him, and then defends V. “And then f—king saying, ‘Aw, just get over it. It’s not that f—king intense.’ Well, it might be to her!” Nathan adds one last warning in the preview: “Just keep it in your f—king trousers!”

Victoria “V” SanJuan reacts to Joe Bradley and Kizzi’s kiss

Joe and Kizzi’s kiss came during a difficult time for V, as she was not only sick, but also dealing with the anniversary of her late boyfriend’s death in a diving accident, which also happened to be on her birthday. When Joe explained the situation to his mother during Episode 12, he called the kiss a “mistake.”

“I just don’t want to hurt her,” Joe cried to his mother at the time. “I can’t imagine the pain that she’s going through.”

V recently shared in her Instagram Stories what she was thinking as she returned to deck during Episode 14, and admitted that she “absolutely” could tell something had happened in her absence.

“I’d consider myself pretty socially aware,” she told her followers after the episode aired. “I pay careful attention to body language, facial expression, and tone. I felt it as soon as I walked on board. It was a complete energy shift. Especially to how the rest of the crew didn’t know what to say when I asked how the charter was or what I missed.”

Still, V was glad that Joe didn’t tell her the news right away, but instead waited until after her birthday dinner.

“Before dinner would have been so awkward,” V wrote on her Instagram Story. “As you can tell from the episode, the energy was already awkward, everyone knowing something, and you’re on the blindside is a really weird position.”

She added, “Everything happens for a reason.”

Are Victoria “V” SanJuan and Joe Bradley together today?

Unsurprisingly, V and Joe are no longer together post-Below Deck Med Season 10 — either as lovers or friends. She first broke the news during her Dec. 1 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

“I think after the show, I’ve realized that the men I choose to be in my friend group, I prefer — I admire men who are mature and take accountability and [are] respectful,” she told host Andy Cohen. “And I think I leave him outside of that friend group.”

For his part, Joe said during his own WWHL appearance a week later that he regretted the relationship.

“Honestly, I do regret getting into a boatmance,” he explained in the Dec. 8 episode. “You can have a bit of a fling, a kiss, whatever, but actually getting feelings on deck in the same department, it’s very complicated. It is very complicated. And I’ve learned my lesson, and it won’t happen again.”

This wasn’t the first time Joe hooked up with two girls on the same yacht. Catch up on why it caused a rift between him and Gael Cameron during Below Deck Mediterranean.
