Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher are already the very proud parents of their son, who they welcomed into the world just days ago. But before Gael gave birth to their baby boy, Nathan had suffered an injury.
The Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie took to Instagram on June 16, where he revealed that he had a “potential slipped disc” which he needed treatment for. So, Nathan went to a health and performance center in Australia, Vibe Health and Performance, which helped him recover. “Potential slipped disc, not ideal timing with a baby on the way,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
“Main priority now: fix the back so I can fully support both mum and bub,” he added. “Here’s to the start of recovery.”
And the center worked its magic, allowing Nathan to get better. “Great crew, they sorted me out today and we are for sure on the road to recovery,” he continued. “They also gave me my morning coffee I forgot to make myself. Legends.”
Gael then took to the comments of the post, where she expressed her hopes for a speedy recovery. “Need that back up and running asap,” she wrote, along with a crying while laughing and red heart emoji.
Gael Cameron shares a new look at life as new parents
In the days since Gael gave birth, she has taken to Instagram to give a look at their life as new parents. Gael recently took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a photo of her and Nathan in the delivery room, holding their newborn. “Welcome to the world my love,” she wrote over the photo.
Gael followed this up with a photo of her in the hospital, holding their son, while wearing a comfy-looking pair of pajamas. “Welcome to the world child,” she wrote over the photo.
Gael also posted a sweet shot of her holding their son close to her chest, while the newborn held Nathan’s pinky finger in his hand. She wrote the baby’s birth weight and height in the caption of the post, along with a super sweet message. “The love it took to bring you into this world,” she added. “Couldn’t be more perfect.”
Gael Cameron reveals what’s next for her and Nathan Gallagher with their baby
Gael also took to her Instagram Stories in June, shortly after giving birth, where she shared an update on how she had been doing. “I just wanted to hop on here real quick and say a massive thank you for all the beautiful words people have been sending,” she said. “It is day 2 of postpartum, but I think like day 4 of no sleep. So I’m not 100 percent myself yet again, and I don’t know if I will be able to get back to everyone, but I will definitely try once I’m back home.”
But, Gael revealed that she is so excited for her, Nathan, and their baby to start their lives together. “I can’t wait to get back to travel content,” she added.
