Next Gen Season 2 First Look Shows Ariana Biermann’s Single Life

Big changes are on the New York City horizon for Next Gen NYC Season 2—including a first look at Ariana Biermann’s single life after splitting from her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy. A sneak peek at the new season (watch above) shows Ariana in her new Brooklyn apartment, with her dogs by her side.

“I never went to college, so I feel like this is like my college dorm experience,” Ariana reveals to Gia Giudice during a video call, with Brooks Marks by her side.

Gia also drops a bombshell about her own big life change during the call: a new apartment. “We’re both about to be living on our own,” Gia says. “I’m going to be calling both of you for sleepovers, because I don’t like being alone.”

Although Ariana landed in Brooklyn post-breakup, and Gia moved closer to Manhattan (while not quite leaving the Garden State) by way of Jersey City, the three friends are having trouble plotting all of their locations on a map.

“Two weeks and we’re going to be in Jersey City,” Ariana comments to Gia, who responds, “Just across the river.” As Ariana looks confused, Gia asks, “Is it a river?” Brooks insists, “It is a river,” but then questions his statement with, “What’s the river?”

While Gia chimes in that it’s the Hudson River, Ariana proclaims she’s wrong, and checks out the situation on a map on her phone. “Somebody just told me the other day, ‘You’re f—king stupid. It’s not the Hudson River,’” Ariana adds to explain her confusion. When Gia offers “Upper New York Bay?” as the answer, Ariana shoots that down too, while Brooks insists it’s the Hudson River, and joins Ariana in looking it up on his phone.

“I’m like looking at the map. It says ‘ferry,’” Ariana declares with frustration. “F—k us. We’re getting destroyed for this.”

Gia finally shares that her boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, has the answer: the East River. Ariana responds, “Like my WiFi, I’m just a dumb bitch in Dumbo.”

What cast members are returning for Next Gen NYC Season 2?

Although you got a look at Ariana, Brooks and Gia in the sneak peek, we have the details on who else will be back for Next Gen NYC Season 2. Inaugural cast members Hudson, Riley Burruss, Ava Dash, Emira D’Spain, Shai Fruchter, Georgia McCann and Charlie Zakkour will also return to the series.

Soon after the new season was confirmed by Bravo in an October, Ariana, Riley, Gia and Brooks all posted a shared Instagram reel to celebrate the news, captioning it, “Did you miss us 🙂 We’re back!!! Season 2 baby.”

A look at what’s changed for the Next Gen NYC cast since Season 1

Ariana and Hudson made big waves when she announced their split on social media on Oct. 14. Just days later, Ariana moved out of the apartment the two shared in SoHo, and revealed she’s “the sole person on the lease” in her new Brooklyn place. She immediately began inviting friends over, including Gia, who showed a behind-the-scenes look on TikTok at Ariana’s new home on Ariana’s birthday as they got ready to go out. Gia revealed in the TikTok that she’d also be moving to her own apartment, and added, “I literally think we’re across the water from each other.”

Gia has long lived in her family’s Montville, New Jersey home, but just revealed that she took the plunge and relocated to Jersey City. She showed off her new neighborhood while walking with her longtime boyfriend, Christian Carmichael.

“Look how cute this little neighborhood is,” she said in a TikTok video. “Wait, I’m dying. This is so beautiful. This is going to be my new home… I’m so excited for this.”

After officially moving in November, Gia showed off photos of her new views, as well as how her mother, Teresa Giudice, and stepfather, Luis Ruelas, helped her every step of the way.

Emira is another Next Gen-er making a big move between seasons. She left her Manhattan home in September, sharing on social media that the apartment was “just not big enough anymore.” She showed off pics of her new “literally stunning” kitchen and showed off “the reason” why she moved: her new “glam room.”

Since Season 1 ended, Riley shared a big update on her love life, and revealed that she’s been dating a yet-to-be-named boyfriend. During an appearance on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show in October, Riley shared, “A lot of men nowadays are rough, but he is really amazing. He’s a great man. His parents are amazing, and they raised a really amazing young man.”

Georgia is also in a new relationship following her split from Omar Zaki.
