California police announced on Monday that they have arrested the son of Rob and Michelle Reiner after the couple was found dead on Sunday.
Page Six reported that Nick Reiner, 32, was booked into jail on $4 million bail. Hours earlier, Rob and Michelle Reiner were reportedly found dead with apparent stab wounds at their Los Angeles home.
Earlier, unidentified sources told TMZ that a family member slit Rob and Michelle Reiner’s throats in their Los Angeles mansion. One of the couple’s daughters found them and told police that a family member “should be a suspect” because they’re “dangerous,” per the sources.
Though police have not spoken on the record about the reported double homicide, sources told People that the Reiners’ son, Nick, killed his parents. Over the years, Nick Reiner has been candid about his issues with drug addiction and homelessness.
Rob Reiner was 78, while his wife was 68. A motive has not been disclosed.
