Andrew Fjeldheim, Jr. was born on May 20, 1945 to Andrew & Arlouine (Freeman) Fjeldheim at the family homestead northeast of Pollock, SD. There, he attended Solomonson country school and went on to attend Pollock School, graduating in the class of 1963. After taking college classes, Andrew returned to Pollock, where he farmed and was a member of the Pollock Lutheran Church.

On January 10, 2000 he married Cindy Vander Vorste at the Pollock Memorial Presbyterian Church. The couple, along with their daughter Susanna, made their home at their centennial farm. He proudly served on the Pollock School board and worked for the U.S. Post Office. Andrew and Cindy’s years together were filled with many mail runs, cups of coffee while visiting at local cafes, and their brood of cats. They enjoyed country music concerts, car shows, and get togethers with family and friends. Andrew’s hobbies included acquiring vintage cars, bartering for a good deal on farm equipment, and checking out John Deere tractors in the green sheets. In December 2019, he became a resident of the Walworth County Care Center in Selby, where he resided until his passing.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Cindy, of Pollock, SD; his daughter Susanna and her fiancé Matthew Willis of Columbia, MO; sister Evelyn Quenzer and family of Deadwood, SD; brother Alvin Fjeldheim and family of Pollock, SD; sisters-in-law Phyllis Fjeldheim of Pollock, SD, and Rita Fjeldheim and Holly Fjeldheim of Herreid, SD; many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and close friends; and his beloved former pet deer Romeo.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Andrew and Arlouine, sister Delores, and brothers Kenny, Shervin, Jim, Orland, Larry, Ernest, and Earl.
