Kennedy passed away Thursday January 12, 2023 due to an automobile accident.
Kennedy was born June 15, 1998 to Avril White Eagle and Cory Carry Moccasin. Kennedy was a basketball player for the Lady Sioux from Solen High School. She wore number 30 & 31. She loved playing and watching basketball. Her favorite team was the Miami Heat because of Lebron James. When Lebron switched to the LA Lakers so did Kennedy. Kennedy lived life to the fullest, she lived each day as it came, always doing things for her son. She attended everyone of his school functions with pride. She graduated from high school in 2016. She started working at Prairie Knights Casino in 2018 as a room attendant. She later moved to Bismarck where she worked at Pizza Ranch and other various jobs before returning to PKC as a cocktail server where she was working at the time of her death.
She had so many things she wanted to do yet, she got tickets for a concert in Fargo in March. She talked about how when Mathias got old enough to play basketball, she would be there cheering and coaching from the bleachers. She really loved her son so much, she did everything for him. She saved money so he could have his McDonald’s meal or go to Space Aliens.
She is survived by her son, Mathias Carry Moccasin, Cannonball; Mother, Avril (Shawn) White Eagle, Cannonball; Father, Cory Carry Moccasin, Bismarck; Siblings, Jaycee, Dayana, Dayna, Sophie, Cannonball; Grandmas, Tina Conica, Greta Conica, Solen; Pat Carry Moccasin, Bismarck.
