In Loving Memory of
Wanda Kay (Williamson) Cadotte
“The song is ended, but the melody lingers on”
We mourn the loss of a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Wanda Kay (Williamson) Cadotte 69, who passed at her home in Wakpala, SD on November 7, 2025. Wanda was born March 5, 1957 to Maxine (Goodleft) Williamson and William Buckley. Wanda was adopted by her grandparents George and Maggie (Goodleft) Williamson. She was raised in a humble manner but had the love and care of her grandparents who passed on the teachings of faith and belief in the Lord. Although Wanda lived a simple life and didn’t hold much worldly possessions, she valued spending her life as a homemaker and cherished her time with family and friends, visiting and listening to music.
In her younger years Wanda was part of a special group of friends she loved reminiscing of her glory days as carefree spirit. Her crew gave each other nicknames, Birdie Standing Crow (Angel), Judy Standing Crow (Lucky), Ardie Running Bear (Sarge) and Wanda (Killer Jo), we can only imagine the mischief and conversations they had, but Wanda was proud to have experienced the sisterhood of her long lost friends that she never forgot.
Wanda was married to William (Bill) Cadotte for several years before his passing, which left her grief stricken and she tried to fill the void any way she could.
Wanda is survived by her children; Lisa Clark, Averial Cadotte, Michelle Clark, Maynard See Walker, Clarissa See Walker, Kimberly Dubray, Sisters Alice Two Horses and Delilah Two Horses and many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wanda will be missed by her family and children, but are comforted that she is no longer suffering and is greeted by her loved ones; Mother, Maxine Lewis, Grandparents George and Maggie Williamson, Luke and Rose Good Left, Sister Raelynn Two Horses, Brothers Georgie Boy Williamson, Gary Two Horses, Gene Two Horses, Niece, Juanita Standing Crow, Grand Daughter Shaleesha Twin and Husband William Cadotte who are rejoicing in a place of peace and glory.
