Andy Cohen has officially moved into his brand new NYC apartment with his two children, Ben and Lucy Cohen.
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host took to his Instagram Story earlier this week, where he gave two new looks inside of the stunning place. Although he was very upset to say goodbye to his longtime home in the West Village (more on that down below), he has been so excited to start a brand new chapter in his new apartment.Â
Andy first gave a look at his outdoor patio, perfect for entertaining or simply enjoying the view. The dad of two snapped a photo of his plate of chicken and broccoli, as he took in the view of the NYC skyline. Andy’s terrace looks so nice, complete with lounge chairs, a dining table, and a direct view of One World Trade Center.
“Dinner of champions,” he wrote over the photo.
He also snapped a photo of the inside of the home, where he revealed that his custom gold disco ball, which was previously in the office at his old house, came with him to his new place. “Have disco ball, will travel,” he wrote over the photo of the ball hanging in a room at nighttime.Â
Andy Cohen opens up about his “sophisticated” new apartment
Andy had been very excited to move into the new home. In an interview with The Daily Dish in December 2024, Andy opened up about how the new house is different from his old one, as it has two floors, but a “more conducive” layout for his family.
“The new apartment is a little more sophisticated,” he said. “It’s about the next phase of my life, which I think, is a little more sophisticated.”
He continued in his interview with The Daily Dish, revealing that he was most excited about his patio. “The outdoor space was really huge,” he said. “I mean, the outdoor space was the tipping point cause I’m living in my dream apartment.”
He reiterated this in an interview with People in November 2024. “Outdoor space was the decision! I always have coveted outdoor space,” he explained. “There is a dearth of inventory in the West Village with outdoor space.”
Andy Cohen reveals he had to renovate his new apartment
Before he moved into the new place, Andy made a few renovations to it. In his interview with The Daily Dish, Andy revealed that he had wanted to move into it in the spring, but it was under construction.
“I’m gutting it,” he said. “It’s been under construction for a year and a half.”

During a recent interview on his Sirius XM show, Radio Andy, Andy opened up about how different renovating this place was compared to the renovations he did in his West Village apartment and in his home in the Hamptons.
“In the last 10 years, I did the first place, then I built a house, then I did the third place,” he explained. “The cost increase in the last 10 years for this work — I’ve gone over so much more than I ever would have thought.”
How Andy Cohen said goodbye to his West Village apartment
It had been hard for Andy to leave his longtime home in the West Village, which he first purchased in 2003, but was sold by Million Dollar Listing New York alum Ryan Serhant earlier this year. The home was unique in the fact that it was a combination of four different units and came equipped with a home office, a den, a bar, and multiple wood burning fireplaces.Â
Andy took to his Instagram Story in late June, where he posted a photo of his empty office and one of his bedrooms, filled with a single mattress and two rolled up rugs. “What remains,” he wrote over the photo.
Andy Cohen shares what he will miss the most about his old apartment
But it’s not just the home that he will miss — it’s the staff at the building, too. Andy took to an episode of Radio Andy this month, where he opened up about how difficult it was to close the door on the place that he had called home for so long.
“For me, specifically, just leaving that place that I loved so much, and saying goodbye to all of the building staff. I was so emo,” he shared.Â
Later that evening, Andy recalled taking a moment in the empty apartment. “The night before I moved, and it was like 10:30 or 11 at night, and my apartment, my living room, and that whole area was just empty and I sat on the floor looking around and just images of the past 22 years,” he said. “It just was all kind of washing over me coming alive, and it was a trip. I just wanted to kind of sit there in that moment.”

He also took to Instagram in late June, where he penned the sweetest tribute to the doormen who had seen him evolve so much over the past two decades.
“Today I’m full of emotion as I move out of my home of 22 years,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “The thing that’s got me feeling the most misty is saying goodbye to the incredible staff of this amazing building. Life in New York City is so unique, and one of the joys of it is the bond you build with the folks you’re around daily by virtue of where you live.”
Details on Andy Cohen’s Hamptons vacation home in the Hamptons
Andy also owns a vacation house in the Hamptons, which he purchased several years ago. In a 2023 interview with E! News, Andy admitted that owning a beach house had been his dream, and he had been excited about finishing it.
“I just spent several years building a dream home on the beach, and it’s finally done, so I’m going to be spending a lot of time with my family out there,” he said.Â
Would Andy Cohen move out of NYC?
“After New Year’s last year, I rented a house for a week in the Venetian Islands with the kids. We had the best week, I love it here so much,” he said. “So the answer is, you never know.”
