When Craig Conover first publicly reacted to the news of his breakup with Paige DeSorbo at the beginning of January 2025, he called her decision to end their three-year-long relationship “very, very unexpected,” — something that Andy Cohen now finds “interesting,” as he put it on Part 1 of Season 9’s Summer House reunion.
The Watch What Happens Live host, more specifically, told Paige, “It was interesting to me, because in talking to him, he did express several times how surprised he was by the breakup.”
“But then then watching the show, you seemed headed in that direction strongly during the summer,” Andy continued. “I guess I’m curious, how much of what you shared with us who watched the show, did you share with him?”
Paige’s response? “I mean, Craig and I have had this conversation for a year.”
That’s not all she revealed, though.
Paige DeSorbo reveals she and Craig Conover initially broke up in February 2024
In continuing to talk to Andy about her and Craig’s breakup, Paige admitted that they had actually temporarily split back in February 2024. “Like, it’s not like one day I just woke up and was like, ‘I think I’ll be single today,’” she explained. “We broke up last February for like a full weekend.”
And although the two decided to keep trying after the February breakup, she insisted that the official split should still not have come as a surprise for the Southern Charm-er.
“It’s not like it was smooth sailing and then one day I was just like, ‘See ya!’” Paige said. “You know, we’ve had these conversations over and over and over.”
Some of these conversations even played out on Summer House Season 9, including a tense talk about an “annual review” of their relationship during the Shipwrecked party.
When did Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover actually break up?
Paige and Craig broke up in November 2024, and she announced the split on December 30.
At the Summer House Season 9 reunion, Paige shed new light on the timing of her announcement. As she explained, “I told him that I was going to put a statement out on my podcast when I realized he was, like, on vacation being single. I was like, ‘Okay, well I can’t hide this anymore from people.'”
Andy asked for clarification about Craig’s apparent vacation behavior, and Paige responded, “Right when Christmas happened, he then went on a vacation to Aspen. So, he was out at bars, there were girls around, people had pictures, they were on the internet. And I was like, I’m not going to respond to that. I’d rather be the one to say, ‘We broke up. He’s fine to be out right now and be doing his thing.’”
