A 32-year-old Pennsylvania man has been charged with raping a 15-year-old girl in Quakertown earlier this year, and police believe there may be more victims.
Miguel Angel Sanchez faces numerous counts of rape, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and other crime, WPXI reported.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said that the teen told them Sanchez raped her inside his vehicle on October 23 while it was parked in a grocery story parking lot. Quakertown police reviewed surveillance video and determined Sanchez’s vehicle was in the parking lot on that day.
The victim said she met Sanchez and exchanged contact information over Snapchat, where she said, he asked her for nude videos and videos of her performing sex acts in exchange for money.
Officials said he also asked one of the victim’s friends, a 16-year-old girl, for sex videos in exchange for money. Police said they believe there may be more victims and asked anyone with information to call them at 215-536-5002.
Sanchez was initially arraigned on November 3 and ordered to be held without bail after a judge determined he was a flight risk. At the time of the incidents in Bucks County, Sanchez was out on bail on similar charges in Montgomery County.
His formal arraignment is scheduled for Friday.
