SAYRE, Pa. (TCN) —Â A 45-year-old man will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars for raping 17 women and operating a meth lab.
According to Bradford County District Attorney Richard Wilson, a judge sentenced Sean Hall on June 19 to no less than 98 years and eight months to a maximum of 206 years in state prison. He previously pleaded guilty in March to four counts of operating a methamphetamine laboratory and 17 counts of rape-related charges.
In a news release, the Bradford County Drug Task Force said Hall was initially arrested in April 2024 in connection with a methamphetamine cooking operation at his house on Linden Street. Officials reportedly executed search warrants on trash discarded from Hall’s residence and discovered evidence of the lab.
Following Hall’s arrest, detectives uncovered evidence of sexual assaults and rapes, including hundreds of hours of video, committed by the defendant over a span of several years. Prosecutors said many of the assaults and rapes occurred in Hall’s house, where he resided with his minor daughter.
According to Wilson, “Some of the assaults involved women being restrained, while others involved threats of violence and extortion or threats with a knife.”
Eight of Hall’s victims were reportedly unconscious at the time. Authorities said Hall confessed that he drugged the women “without their knowledge or consent in order to prevent resistance from the victims.”
In a statement, Wilson said, “On behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the County of Bradford, I can say that I am happy with the outcome because it means that Sean Hall will spend the rest of his natural life in prison. Under no circumstances will he be eligible for parole during his lifetime.”
