Persian Style Cast Live? See the Map

How to Watch

The Valley Persian Style premieres Thursday, January 8 at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes stream next day on Peacock.

The Valley: Persian Style‘s series premiere kicked off with some old friends — Mercedeh Javid, Golnesa Gharachedaghi, and Reza Farahan — explaining how they’d moved to a new zip code.

In addition to Mercedeh and Reza’s respective partners, Tommy Feight and Adam Farahan, the previous Shahs of Sunset crew’s inner circles also expanded to include fellow Season 1 cast members Tanin Nikpey and Greg Haroutunian; Sky Askari and Bamshad Akhbari; Natasha Kashanian and Amir Boroumand; and Reza Jackson.

If you’re wondering where all The Valley: Persian Style cast lives, a graphic that appeared in Episode 1 revealed that their suburban homes are all in relatively close proximity to each other, too.

After Reza Farahan explained that there was “a huge migration” following the Islamic Revolution of 1979, he added, “Growing up in Beverly Hills was amazing, but now that I’m older, the Valley offers us the exact slower pace that we crave.”

He continued, “The Persian community is full of love — and the Persian community in the Valley is full of drama. Everyone knows what you’re doing, what car you’re driving, what you’re wearing, if you’re having financial problems.”

Golnesa, for her part, chimed in, “A lot of Iranians packed up and fled to many countries, but the number one place was right here in L.A. … The Persian community in the Valley is very tight-knit.”

Where Mercedeh, Golnesa, and Reza’s friendships stood before The Valley: Persian Style Season 1

Despite all the changes in their lives over the past several years, the core group of Mercedeh, Golnesa, and Reza were still close, heading into The Valley: Persian Style‘s inaugural season.

“I’ve made a lot of new friends out here, and I feel like I’ve got some old friends,” Mercedeh revealed in a confessional. “Reza, Golnesa, and I are in a really good place. It took a very long time to get here. We made stupid mistakes, but we mended fences.”

As Reza further offered, “We’ve built the trust back, and the fact that the three of us are back together makes me so f–king happy.”

The official Season 1 announcement teased that “cracks in their relationships — both between lovers and friends — begin to emerge” within the larger friend group as they balance marriages, parenthood, and thriving careers.

“The group is at a crossroad as they attempt to navigate their relationships at home and their bonds with each other,” the announcement previewed. “Each facing their own set of challenges, they soon realize that a quieter life in the suburbs is not without its fair share of drama.”

Inside Golnesa Gharachedaghi’s moving drama

Though Golnesa was pretty well settled in her centrally located home with son Elijah, 5, she revealed on the Season 1 premiere that she was “desperate” to find a new place to live.

“I have to move out of my place because my landlord wants to move back in,” she explained to a producer.

Golnesa elaborated to her father, Mahmoud, “Reza has been showing me houses. We’re still looking. He’s been helping me out.”

One major issue? Golnesa wasn’t willing to downsize and, as her dad pointed out, her credit was “not that good,” either.

“Because my parents have always helped me financially, I’ve never had a job in my life,” Golnesa shared in a confessional. “Shahs was my first paycheck from anyone. But my parents are getting older; they need to be saving all that money up. So, I need to hustle. Adult life sucks.”

Later on, when both Reza and Mercedeh separately confronted her about her finances and house-hunting expectations, Golnesa grew frustrated and abruptly walked away from both conversations.

In the meantime, get details on everything to expect from The Valley: Persian Style cast on Season 1.
