Police Seek Dark-Colored SUV in Search for Texas AMBER Alert Girl – Crime Online

Texas authorities are continuing to search for 11-year-old Audrii Cunningham, who has not been seen since Thursday morning, KTRK-TV reports.

On Saturday, the Texas Department of Public Safety said investigators were looking for a 2003 dark blue Chevrolet Suburban, which the agency described as a “vehicle of interest.”

Search teams on Saturday morning were seen near the Lake Livingston Dam in San Jacinto County, which is several miles from Cunningham’s home in Livingston. Police have not said why are searching the area.

Crews from Texas EquuSearch were also spotted near Lake Livingston around 6 a.m. Saturday after the search was put on hold Friday evening, according to KHOU-TV.

The girl’s mother, Cassie Matthews, said Friday she was told by authorities that her daughter’s backpack may have been found, according to KTRK-TV.

Cunningham was last seen at approximately 7 a.m. Thursday on Lakeside Drive, which is near where she lives with her father. Her loved ones reported her missing after she failed to get off the bus that afternoon, prompting an AMBER Alert. It was later determined she never got on the bus and was not at school.

People who live in the neighborhood have said they would typically see the girl walk to a bus stop with a dog, but it’s not clear whether that happened on the day she vanished.

Authorities have reportedly identified multiple persons of interest but have not disclosed the identities of those individuals.

“There’s additional information out there. We’re just not releasing it. That’s what the investigators are using to follow up on,” Texas Department of Public Safety Lt. Craig Cummings said, according to KTRK-TV.

Cunningham is a white female, about 4-foot-1, and around 75 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing black pants, a black hoodie with white lettering, and black high-top shoes.
