Four children taken in Illinois by a non-related man in what law enforcement called a domestic-related kidnapping have been found.
According to A Voice For The Voiceless, Inc., the “children have been recovered and are being medically evaluated as a precaution. The offender is still outstanding.”
ABC 7 reports that the incident began early Saturday morning, around 1:30 am, Austin Bell, 29, drove off in a vehicle with four children in the backseat; the vehicle did not belong to Bell, police said.
Police responded to the incident in the 13600 block of Lowe Avenue in Riverdale. An AMBER Alert was subsequently issued for the children, citing the vehicle’s information as a silver 2010 Acura MDX with Illinois plate, FE 60619.
Police reportedly said that as a precaution, the children are being medically evaluated.
Bell is described as a Black male who stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs around 215 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
