Police in Pennsylvania are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 17-year-old teen.
According to the Dunmore Borough Police Department, Madelynn Krupa is described as standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighing around 100 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Police said on Facebook Wednesday night that there’s no evidence to suggest that Madelynn was abducted. Therefore, they did not issue an AMBER Alert.
“At this time, we are simply asking the assistance of the public in being on the lookout for this juvenile. We are not in any way asking for parallel, vigilantism type investigations,” police said.
“There has been much criticism about the lack of details, such as where the juvenile was last seen and the circumstances surrounding the incident. As we have expressed in earlier comments, we have neither information that leads us to believe this is an abduction, nor do we believe there is a general risk to the public.”
