Police in Chicago are searching for a teen girl who has not been seen in a week.
According to the Chicago Police Department, Estefania Herrera, 18, was last seen October 17, although it’s unclear where she was seen, or she left with anyone.
NBC 5 Chicago reports that Herrera is a senior at Chicago’s Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School. She’s also on the school’s swim team.
“The Mother McAuley community is praying for the safe return of senior Estefania Herrera,” the school stated on social media.
Estefania is described as standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. She has brown hair and was last seen in a black and white checkered fleece top and jeans.
She left with a red backpack and a blue backpack, according to police.
