A Texas teen’s parents are worried about their son who reportedly left home without his wallet, phone, or laptop.
Jessica Hutto, 19, disappeared a week ago from her San Antonio home and could possibly in the Houston area, according to FOX 26 Houston.
Her family believes an online game could be linked to her disappearance. A conversation from Hutto’s phone showed her last contact was with someone in Houston, whom she met through online gaming.
Hutto’s parents, Michelle and Chris Hutto, have made law enforcement aware that their daughter suffers from anxiety and depression, which makes them especially concerned for her safety.
FOX San Antonio reported that Hutto was last seen near Loop 1604 and Linbrooke, on the Northwest side area of Tezel Road, on July 24.
Hutto reportedly has a birthmark on her lower back. She was wearing black shorts outlined in white, with a black t-shirt with the Ghostface character and black sandals at the time she was last seen.
“It’s been terrifying, unbearable,” her mother, Michelle Hutto, said, “I don’t get much sleep. I don’t eat much. All I can think about is her and where she’s at and if she needs me,” Fox 26 reported
While Chris Hutto raised worries about her unexpected departure.
“We’re worried because she didn’t take anything. She left her bank card, her phone, her computer. Like this. Not normal.”
“We love her and miss her so much, and that nobody’s mad at her for leaving or nothing like that. We just want her to be safe.”
Anyone with information about Jessica Hutto or her whereabouts is encouraged to contact the San Antonio Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (210) 207-7660 or the Houston Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (832) 394-1840.
