Porsha Williams has finalized her divorce from Simon Guobadia, a little over a year after filing. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member confirmed the news that she and Simon officially closed the chapter on their divorce on June 11 in an interview with People, released on June 23.Â
“You go through different stages,” Porsha told the publication about the end of her marriage to Simon. Â “You have that anger. You have a moment where you have to fight for your life in a court situation. And then, toward the end, you have the clarity where you realize you are still blessed. Your family is by our side, your child is protected; there’s a whole new life that you can start.”
She spoke to the publication before and after the divorce had been finalized, sharing afterwards, “I feel relieved. I think the feeling was mutual for me and him. We were both ready to close this chapter and move forward with real life.”

Porsha and Simon got engaged in May 2021 and married in November 2022 in two lavish ceremonies. Less than two years after marrying, Porsha and Simon filed for divorce in February 2024. Cut to June 2025, and their divorce has now been finalized.

Porsha spoke to The Daily Dish around the time of RHOA Season 16 premiering earlier this year, and she opened up about her personal life today and opened up about her dating life, noting that she was “not yet” dating at the time of the interview. Though she was excited to share her life again with viewers as she embarked on this new chapter and her return to RHOA (as you can see in the video above).
