Porsha Williams is showing love to the woman who raised her. The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom took to Instagram this week to celebrate her mother Diane Williams’ special day.
“HAPPY 68th Birthday To My Queen turning!!” Porsha captioned the January 22 carousel. “You are absolutely stunning inside and out! I was going to wait until tomorrow but I have to celebrate you today. I love you more than you know!”

The post included multiple photos of Diane looking absolutely beautiful in a marble-print Roberto Cavalli dress and a luxury hairpiece from Porsha’s GoNaked wig/extensions line. One of the photos showed Porsha presenting Diane with a giant cardboard key inscribed with, “Welcome Home, Mom. Love, Porsha,” suggesting that The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member had purchased her mother a new house. The remaining slides featured Diane striking different poses throughout the property, where she also received a new designer bag.

“Thank you for being the MOST AMAZING MOMMY a girl can pray for,” Porsha continued. “Your love, guidance, comfort has carried me through my life! You are the reason I am who I am today! You have always been an independent, boss, nurturing, compassionate and giving person! I truly won the lottery in mommy land.”
Porsha went on to say that she and her daughter, Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley, “adore[d]” Diane and were beyond grateful to have her in their lives.
“I’m blessed to be able to give you the things you deserve and pray you get everything you desire,” Porsha concluded. “Love you mommy – Love Porsha & Pj.”

Porsha’s half-sister, Lauren Williams, reshared the post on Instagram along with a “Happy Birthday” gif.
The tribute has since garnered more than 29,000 “likes” and over 2,000 comments from friends, fans, and Porsha’s fellow Bravolebrities. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, and The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant were among those who left Diane some birthday love.
“So beautiful!!! Happy Birthday,” Kyle wrote.
“The Queen!” Gizelle added.

“It was just kind of confusing at first, because I had my home with Mommy that felt complete, solid, and then over here with Dad, it was another home that could be complete and solid. And why am I going in between?” she said in the January 10, 2021, episode.
Porsha’s parents divorced when she was 3. Her and Lauren’s father, Hosea Williams II, died in 1998.
