A Tennessee teen allegedly choked and kicked his pregnant girlfriend during a fight, attempted to stab her in the stomach, and then threatened to “shoot up the home” after the victim managed to get him out of her residence, cops say.

A month after the alleged May assault, Brandon Grigsby, 18, attacked a “family member” and threw bleach into their eyes during an argument, according to a Nashville Police Department press release.

Authorities said last week that they were unable to charge Grigsby at the time due to witness availability. Grand jury indictments have now been handed down linking him to both alleged incidents and he is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of domestic assault, as well as harassment and theft, after being arrested Wednesday at his mother”s home, NPD officials report.

“Brandon Grigsby had six outstanding warrants, mainly related to domestic violence incidents this year,” police said in the release.

“Two of the grand jury indictments against Grigsby were related to an aggravated assault in May involving his pregnant girlfriend,” cops alleged. “She said Grigsby choked and kicked her before he attempted to stab her in the stomach. He also fired shots into the air and threatened to shoot up the home once the victim was successfully able to get him out of the residence.”

Two other indictments filed against Grigsby are related to the family member’s assault in June, where he allegedly “threw bleach” into a relative’s eyes “during an argument.” That case was also dismissed at the time due to “witness availability.”

Detectives tracked Grigsby down on Wednesday night and found him at his mom’s home with a 16-year-old, who left the residence with him in a BMW, according to NPD officials. The two of them allegedly attempted to flee from police after being pulled over, but the BMW was “disabled” and both individuals were taken into custody.

In addition to the assault and harassment charges, Grigsby is facing felony weapon possession and marijuana possession after authorities found approximately 40 grams of pot in a backpack and a pistol on the back seat floorboard. The teen that was with Grigsby has been charged in juvenile court with felony evading arrest.
