We have some major reasons to celebrate. The nominees for the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on July 15, and Top Chef is up for several awards at the big event.
The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards are slated to take place this fall, with Top Chef in the running for a 3 trophies. The show is nominated for Outstanding Reality Competition Program alongside The Amazing Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Peacock’s The Traitors, and Survivor.
Kristen Kish is nominated for Outstanding Host For A Reality or Reality Competition Program for her role as host of Top Chef alongside RuPaul (RuPaul’s Drag Race); Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Daniel Lubetzky (Shark Tank); Alan Cumming (The Traitors), as well as Jeff Probst (Survivor).
Top Chef also landed a nomination for Outstanding Directing For A Structured Reality or Competition Program. Other nominees in the category include The Amazing Race, Love on the Spectrum, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and The Traitors.

When does the Primetime Emmy Awards 2025 take place?
The main ceremony will take place on September 14, 2025, in Los Angeles with comedian Nate Bargatze hosting the award show.
