Rachel Zoe is setting the record straight on her relationship status. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie caused a bit of a stir last month when she hit the red carpet with a new man.
The moment went down on January 20 during the premiere event for Paris Hilton’s Infinite Icon: a Visual Memoir film. Many suspected that Rachel and the man were romantically involved, as the pair were seen holding hands on the red carpet; however, the celebrity stylist insisted their relationship was strictly platonic.
Is Rachel Zoe dating a relationship coach?
“He’s a friend,” Rachel said during her February 10 appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle. “He is a relationship coach. He travels all over the world.”
Rachel’s friend was identified as Sascha Haert, “a renowned Relational Intelligence & Love Coach” who works with high-profile women.

“What happened was, he had just traveled in,” Rachel said. “We went to Paris’ premiere and foolishly thought, because I was told it was going to be intimate, a smaller thing, and got out of the car and literally walked, and there was a red carpet that looked like the Vanity Fair party. I was like, ‘Oh my god.’ I was doing the carpet, and everyone started screaming.”
Rachel Zoe splits from Rodger Berman after 26 years of marriage
In September 2024, Rachel announced her separation from her husband of 26 years, Rodger Berman. The two had met back in 1991 while they were attending George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Rachel and Rodger tied the knot about seven years later, and went on to welcome two sons, Skyler Morrison Berman and Kaius Jagger “Kai” Berman. Roughly 10 months after announcing her marital split, Rachel officially filed for divorce.
“Listen, it’s not one thing,” she said when asked what led to her divorce. “It’s never one thing that goes wrong. We were together well over more than half my life. We met when I was 19. I think, ultimately, people grow together, they grow apart… I always thought that people don’t change, but 1771712853 I think they can change. I think sometimes when people do change, they may want to stay in that change… You gotta just let them change.”
Rachel Zoe confirms she’s back in the dating scene
Since splitting from Rodger, Rachel has re-entered the dating scene and is loving every moment of it.
“It’s incredibly fun. To be honest, that wasn’t hard for me to get into. It really wasn’t,” she told People magazine in December 2025. “Anyone who comes into my life and our lives is only going to be someone that adds value in terms of making me laugh, making me smile, and really just making sense. It’ll have to feel organic and natural to who I am now.”
