Before Rachel Zoe went blonde, she was a brunette. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is sharing a look at her life and her brown hair before she gave birth to her two sons, showing off her true roots.
The celebrity fashion stylist recently took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a photo from her younger years. In the picture, Rachel can be seen looking straight into the camera with her amber-colored eyes, showing off her long, dark brown, wavy hair cascading over her face.
She then took to the caption of the post, where she admitted that she does see the resemblance between her and the teenage sons — Skyler Berman and Kaius Berman — that she shares with her ex-husband, Rodger Berman. “When other people post oldies, and I remember why my kids have brown hair lol,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Rachel has shared many throwback photos of herself with brown hair over the years. She took to Instagram in 2013, where she posted a sweet throwback alongside Rodger, showing off her wavy brown hair. In 2020, she posted a photo of herself from the early 90’s during her short-lived modeling career while she still had brown hair.

Rachel has found other times that she’s felt nostalgic. She previously reflected on the past in 2021, taking to Instagram to share a look at her pregnancy with Skyler from over “a decade ago” while “pregnant with my beautiful baby.” The mom of two took to social media, where she posted a framed photo of herself wearing a floppy hat, black high heels, and underwear while she caressed her bare pregnancy bump.
“Apologies if this is too exposed for my IG community, but it took me a decade to get the nerve to share it with you,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Celebrating almost 10 years of this magical journey of [motherhood].”

Rachel has also taken the time to reflect on her decades-long marriage with Rodger amid their divorce. The New Jersey native appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Feb. 12, where she admitted that their divorce will be finalized “soon” but they were keeping things amicable for their sons. “Ultimately, we want what’s best for the kids,” she explained.
That same month, Rachel appeared on the podcast, The Burnouts with Phoebe and Sophia, where she admitted that she wished that she has met Rodger at a different time in her life, rather than when she was 19. “I found my person too early. I knew it then, truthfully. I did. I used to say, like, I wish I could meet him at 27, 28 and then be with him for four, five years, and then have kids. I knew that I met him too early, but he was older than me. And [I was] so young, I mean, I was 19 years old,” she explained during the episode. “I mean, I’m pretty sure my ex and I thought we were dying next to each other up until. couple of years ago.”

Rachel Zoe opens up about her “incredibly fun” dating life amid her divorce
Rachel has been dating amid her divorce and finds this to be “incredibly fun.” The mom of two spoke with PEOPLE on Dec. 31 where she admitted that it “wasn’t hard” for her to start dating again. “It really wasn’t…Anyone who comes into my life and our lives is only going to be someone that adds value in terms of making me laugh, making me smile, and really just making sense. It’ll have to feel natural and organic to who I am now.”
