Reza Farahan thinks The Valley: Persian Style Season 1 is “out of control.” The Shahs of Sunset alum and his friends, Golnesa Gharachedaghi, and Mercedeh Javid, will be on the debut season of the show, and according to him, there are some very exciting things that will happen.
Reza appeared on the Andddd We’re Back! panel at BravoCon 2025 on Saturday, Nov. 15, where he dished on the first season of the Bravo show. He admitted that The Valley: Persian Style is just a little different from Shahs of Sunset, but viewers of Shahs will enjoy the new show just as much. “Oh my God,” he said. “Shahs fans are gonna love The Valley: Persian Style because it’s literally the best parts of Shahs, which are me, Golnesa, and MJ.”
But, he also teased the other additions to the cast (more on that down below). “And then, the most amazing friends of ours that you guys don’t know, that have been in our lives for a long time, but now we get to share them with you,” he continued.
“We’re in a different place in our lives, we’re further along, a lot of things that so many of you are going to be able to relate to, and they’re nuts,” he added. “The drama is on fleek. It’s out of control. I was there for it and I cannot wait to watch this show.”
Mercedeh Javid shares how The Valley: Persian Style is different from Shahs of Sunset
Mercedeh appeared on the #NoFilter panel at BravoCon 2025 on Sunday, Nov. 16, where she admitted that The Valley: Persian Style is “better” than Shahs of Sunset. “It’s gonna be very, like, the better version of Shahs because we are cooler now, and we’ve lived a lot more life,” she stated.

“We’re also a lot more humble now than before because we’re parents and we work so effing hard for every single thing, and always authentic and wide open,” she continued. “You filet us and see everything going on in our lives.”
What to expect from The Valley: Persian Style Season 1 on Bravo
Viewers will get to see these differences when The Valley: Persian Style Season 1 premieres on Bravo on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes will be able to stream the next day on Peacock.

In addition to Reza, Mercedeh, and Golnesa, Season 1 will also include cast members: Tanin Nikpey, Greg Haroutunian, Amir Boroumand, Natasha Kashanian, Sky Askari, Bamshad Akhbari, Tommy Feight, Adam Neely, and Reza Jackson. And will focus on them as they work on balancing their “marriages, parenthood, and thriving career.”
