The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s cast trip to Colorado got off to a rocky start when the ladies discovered that only some of them would be staying in host Angel Massie’s home.
On The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show for Season 10, Episode 13, the cast — including Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Tia Glover, Wendy Osefo, Jassi Rideaux, Stacey Rusch, Monique Samuels, and Keiarna Stewart — unpacked their reactions to Angel’s surprising travel accommodations in Colorado.
“From the start, it just kind of put a sour taste,” Monique remarked on the RHOP After Show, explaining that the group didn’t find out where they would be staying until after they’d already arrived at a mountainside rental home. “I was so confused. I do not like going out of my home state to be with someone else and not know what the hell is going on.”
Monique continued, “To literally start the trip off without being given a heads up about like, ‘Hey, this is what the accommodations are gonna be,’ it was hard to really settle after that.”

Ashley agreed that it was a “terrible feeling,” noting that Angel’s home (where only Keiarna and Tia were invited to stay) was roughly an hour away from their rental.
“I’m sure that there are homes that could have been within the vicinity,” she added. “Like, sis, if you didn’t want us to come — which, you know, would’ve been fine by me — you should’ve said that.”
Stacey, for her part, chimed in that it was “shocking” for her to see that the cast was going to be “separated” during their Rocky Mountain getaway: “Who planned this trip? Because it cannot be the person whose job is literally to plan trips.”
As Wendy put it, “None of this makes any sense. I just don’t understand the purpose of this trip. If the purpose of the trip was for us to see your acres in Colorado… Where the hell’s her house?”
Angel Massie revealed that her Colorado getaway was supposed to be a couples’ trip
Elsewhere on the RHOP After Show, Angel defended herself by revealing, “Originally, the trip was 100 percent supposed to be a couples’ trip.” She even noted that her husband, Bobby Massie, and Keiarna’s partner, Greg Diggs, had been planning to go fly fishing, while the women went horseback riding.
“Everything was going to be a great time for couples to get together and to kind of be romantic,” Angel explained. “I just wanted us to all bond, and sometimes these ladies soften in the presence of their men. And so, I was really excited to see the softer side of these women.”
Initially, the Wanderland Outdoors co-founder planned on hosting Keiarna and Greg, as well as Tia and husband Rob Glover, at her and Bobby’s 5,000-square-foot Larkspur, Colo., home.

“So, it was going to be four people staying at my house,” Angel added. “And that would have been a comfortable enough space for all of us to exist in it.”
Separately, Tia shared that Rob could not make the original couples’ trip, because their daughter had a dance competition in Virigina Beach.
“Planning was changing based off of who could come and who couldn’t,” Angel clarified, noting that bigger houses “were being taken up” amid Colorado’s peak tourist season. “Of course, I decided who was gonna stay at my home based off of my comfortability.”
Gizelle Bryant disses Angel Massie for her Colorado room assignment with Ashley Darby
Though Stacey and Wendy both “loved” their sleeping arrangements, Gizelle was none too pleased to learn that not only had Angel assigned her the smallest bedroom, but she and Ashley were also the only two cast members who had to share the space with a pair of twin beds.
“Angel was excited thinking that me and Ashley were gonna be upset because we were in this room with twin beds,” Gizelle recalled on the After Show. “We’re on Season 10. [That was] very Season 1. Like, we are light years beyond those days. … That was actually dumb. And Angel was excited.”
Angel, meanwhile, wondered why the RHOP OG did not offer her any guidance.Â
“Gizelle had just hosted a group trip,” the Season 10 newcomer concluded. “She could have given me advice. But that would have been a golden opportunity to say, ‘Hey, you know, do you need help? Let me tell you what’s important to the ladies. Let me help you.'”
As the Colorado trip officially gets underway on RHOP, find out how Angel responded to eviction rumors being shared amongst her castmates.
