Yes, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast has heard the comments about their similar looks, and they are ready to clear things up in the newly released trailer for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island After Show.
Following the RHORI series premiere on Thursday, April 2, viewers can look forward to seeing the ladies — including Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi — spilling all the tea on each episode’s most can’t-miss moments.
But first, the all-brunette cast has a few things to say about the assumption that they “all look alike,” as Rosie puts it in the RHORI After Show teaser, which you can check out above.

Ashley Iaconetti, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, and Rosie DiMare on the RHORI After Show for Season 1
Agreeing with Rulla that the cast lookalike commentary is “so ridiculous,” Rosie declares, “Let me tell you something: I don’t look like any of these people, I’m sorry.” That said, she admits that she does “get it,” however, given that she previously couldn’t tell The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow apart “for, like, two seasons.”
As Rulla chimes in, it “might take a minute” for viewers to figure out who’s who.
Ashley, on the other hand, concedes that she and Jo-Ellen “probably do look alike,” before noting that she had added extensions to her hair for the RHORI After Show.

As for how viewers can tell them apart, Rosie offers that she’s “the one with the pink Jeep,” while Rulla explains, “I’m the boss with class who doesn’t get into any cat fights.” Ashley, for her part, insists that she’s “so sane” now, compared to her time in Bachelor Nation when she met her husband, Jared Haibon.
“I was so entertaining on my previous show because what would drive me crazy in all of life was, like, finding my happily ever after,” Ashley elaborates. “And now, that checklist from my 20s is, like, checked off.”
In a separate After Show clip, she adds that marrying a Rhode Island native taught her that you’d be hard-pressed to find “any state where people are more proud to be from it.”
Afterward, Rulla explains that the Ocean State does, indeed, have “so many hidden gems,” but warns, “You can become known and trusted really quickly, but you can also get yourself in trouble and make a bad name for yourself quickly.”
Jo-Ellen Tiberi and Alicia Carmody on the RHORI After Show for Season 1
Jo-Ellen agrees that she and Ashley “look alike,” though Alicia doesn’t see their resemblance at all, opining that Kelsey is the one who “might look like Ashley,” instead. However, Alicia confidently states that Season 1 friend Dolores Catania and Liz “are twins.”
“But I don’t think any of us look like Dolores or Liz,” Jo-Ellen counters, before adding, “I think Kelsey looks like Rosie. … It’s just the brown hair, and, like [they’re] pretty girls.”
Addressing the public’s commentary more generally, Jo-Ellen theorizes, “I think that they’re looking at brunettes with big lips, then they’re like, ‘They all have the same surgeon.'”
The duo, meanwhile, share their own helpful tips on differentiating the inaugural RHORI cast. According to Alicia, Rosie “talks more like a Valley girl” and “wears pink a lot.” The latter fact is the key to telling her apart from Jo-Ellen, who quips, “I don’t wear pink. I’m an adult.”

Jo-Ellen also explains that if viewers see a woman who’s “not speaking and she’s crying, that’s Ashley.”
As for what makes them both unique, Jo-Ellen reveals, “I go very deep. I haven’t had this picture-perfect life, and I want other people to be like, I can be OK too.”
Alicia remarks, “I want to be remembered that I tried to do the right thing, but, like, I mess up all the time and I am not perfect.”
While touting her opinion that Rhode Island has the “best restaurants” in a separate clip, Alicia adds, “I feel like New York and Boston had a baby, and it’s Rhode Island. … Everyone knows everyone.”
Liz McGraw and Kelsey Swanson on the RHORI After Show for Season 1
Liz initially insists, “I don’t think anyone looks alike,” but when her striking resemblance to Dolores comes up, she concedes, “Well, that’s different.”
By the time viewers get into the newest Housewives franchise, however, Liz is optimistic that they will recognize her as a one-of-a-kind individual, based on what’s on the inside.
“I hope the takeaway is you see my heart, and you see that I’m actually compassionate and empathetic — and not just a monster,” she teases.
Kelsey, for her part, weighs in that the cast doesn’t see their physical similarities so much because their “personalities are so different.” She adds, “But I guess if you’re not looking, like, super hard, you just see, like, seven brunette women.”
