The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Lisa Barlow and Bronwyn Newport are reacting to that steamy moment during Southern Hospitality Season 4, Episode 6 with Michols Peña and TJ Dinch.
During the episode, things heated up between Michols and TJ during a cast trip to the river (more on that down below). But this all happened while they were in bed together, watching an episode of RHOSLC. In a clip posted to Bravo’s Instagram account, both Lisa and Bronwyn got to watch the scene from Southern Hospitality and provide their commentary on it.
“Yes, watch Salt Lake City, boys!” Bronwyn said, nodding her head. “This better not be a clip of me. Yes, it’s a clip of me.”
“Oh my God, they’re having sex to me?!” Lisa asked. “This is crazy! I mean, I guess it’s a turn on.”
“This is me at work!” Bronwyn added. “They’re watching us while having sex. Oh my gosh, that’s so funny,” Lisa observed.Â
“Oh my gosh, this is going to make me watch Southern Hospitality,” Bronwyn stated.
TJ took to the comments of the post, where he reacted to their reactions. “Ekkk,” he wrote, along with a crying while laughing emoji and three peach emojis.
Details on Michols Peña’s friendship with TJ Dinch
Things have gotten steamy between Michols and TJ during Southern Hospitality Season 4. With Michols being fresh off a breakup at the end of Southern Hospitality Season 3, TJ and Michols exchanged quite a few kisses during Season 4 and even shared a room during the cast trip to the river in Southern Hospitality Season 4, Episode 6, where the hookup took place.
Michols spoke with GLAAD in January 2025 and opened up about his friendship with TJ after he joined the cast of Southern Hospitality in Season 3. “I feel like TJ and I’s friendship has always been surface level, and we had to go through a lot of growing pains to get to where we are now,” Michols explained. “And I feel like there was eventually going to come a time where it was like, ‘Listen, you’re my first gay friend, I’ve lived here for almost four years, I’m newly gay, I’m just trying to figure it out.’ What better than to have somebody who’s older than you and wiser to be your best friend and give you advice and just coach you through things that you would go through that other people can’t help you with.”

TJ Dinch reveals where he stands with Michols Peña today
Although they did hook up during Southern Hospitality Season 4, Episode 6, TJ and Michols are still just friends to this day. They both spoke with E! News’ Hot Goss on April 9, where TJ admitted that he didn’t regret their hookup. “I don’t think it was a mistake. I just think we needed to get it out of our system,” TJ said, before admitting he’s currently looking for his “forever” person.
