Two Oregon teens who fled home earlier this month after alleged abuse have turned themselves in.
Penny Lyles, 15, and Jonathan Stockle, 18, turned themselves into Warwick police in New York and are currently getting assistance with their safety issues. Blaise Gomez with News 12 told CrimeOnline that Orange County social services will investigate the allegations of abuse.
Jonathan Stockle, as of Monday, has not been charged.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Penny and Jonathan vanished from Astoria, Oregon, on November 14, following an argument with Penny’s father, Ryan Lyles.
Although the Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office has not substantiated the abuse allegations, Penny said that her childhood has been filled with abuse to the point that she will “never go back home” and has plans to “never speak with” her parents once she turns 18.
Penny alleged that her father had slapped her, hit her with objects, shot at her with a BB gun, dragged her through the gravel by her hair, and hit her in the face, legs, back, and arms. Lyles also allegedly body and weight-shamed her, even telling her boyfriend she didn’t “have a good body.”
Penny’s father, Ryan Lyles, denied the accusation and told “Crime Stories” host Nancy Grace that he never abused any of his children. He said the teens fled in fear of punishment, after he found information about drug use, sneaking out, and sex on a cellphone.
“I treat them like princesses and princesses. My family means everything to me,” Lyles explained. “I’m a softie for them. I protect them..they’ve had horses, you know, everything that they could imagine.”
Jonathan’s father, Wayne Stockle, told CrimeOnline Monday morning that his son was fearful of Ryan Lyles and that “no charges” have been filed against Jonathan.
“He is not only dangerous to kid but everyone,” Wayne Stockle said of Penny’s father.
