The armorer who worked on the film “Rust,” and whom prosecutors say was negligent in allowing live rounds into the gun used by Alec Baldwin to kill cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, is facing trial.
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed faces two counts of involuntary manslaughter in Hutchins’ death.
She is also facing a charge of tampering with evidence for allegedly trying to give someone else her bag of cocaine after police interviewed her on the day of the shooting.
Gutierrez-Reed faces up to 18 months in prison on each count.
