Andy Cohen’s West Village duplex has officially been sold by Ryan Serhant, according to reports.
The Million Dollar Listing New York alum and Serhant founder listed the apartment in September 2024, and it reportedly went under contract earlier this month, according to The New York Post and Realtor.Â
The apartment, which the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host first purchased in 2003, is a combination of four different units and features three bedrooms, an office, a den, a home bar, and multiple wood-burning fireplaces. The home is also where Andy welcomed both of his children during his time there.
Ryan told The New York Times in September 2024 that he had been eager to work with Andy and sell his gorgeous home. “The first time I ever walked into Andy’s apartment, I said, ‘Whenever you are willing to part with this, even if I have to pull it from your grip, please let me know. Because it’s one of one,'” he noted at the time. “It’s one of those treasures that you wait your whole career for to find something like this that you get to bring to market and sell.”
Andy Cohen praises Ryan Serhant’s real estate knowledge
During a recent interview on Serhant Live! with Ryan, posted to Instagram earlier this month, Andy praised the realtor for having such strong knowledge about the market. “For me, I look to my realtor to always have the answer to the question,” Andy admitted in his chat with Ryan. “I want strength and knowledge and a plan from my financial planner, from my realtor, whatever.”
“We’re all trying to do the same goal,” he concluded.
But, working together has also been an adventure for Andy. During Bravo Fan Fest 2024 in Miami in November, he teased at what it had been like to work with Ryan to sell his house. “I wish you could see the goings on between us,” he said during the “Ask Andy” panel. “It would make for its own show.”
Andy Cohen shares details about his new apartment
Although Andy has not shared many details about his new place just yet, he did share some info about the home with The Daily Dish in December 2024. He admitted that the place has been “under construction for a year and a half” and is slowly getting move-in ready for his son, Benjamin, and daughter, Lucy.Â
“The new apartment is a little more sophisticated,” he shared. “It’s about the next phase of my life, which I think, is a little more sophisticated.”
Like his previous home, this place also has two levels, but is just a little “more conducive” for his family, as his two kids are so active. “The outdoor space was really huge,” he admitted. “I mean, the outdoor space was the tipping point cause I’m living in my dream apartment.”
See how Andy’s kids have reacted to the big move.
