What really happened between Southern Charm’s Salley Carson and Summer House’s West Wilson after the double date they had back in October? The Charleston-based Bravoleb is sharing new details about the outing that spurred dating rumors galore.
As the reported “love triangle” featuring Salley, Craig Conover, and Charley Manley continues to play out on Southern Charm Season 11, Salley admitted to The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge and The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania on the Dec. 29 episode of the Two Ts In A Pod podcast that she “played a little bit” with a certain someone, finally confessing it was none other than West.
“West came to Columbia … he’s great, and we hung out at BravoCon, and it was fun,” Salley said. “His personality is awesome. He’s very genuine — like, if you’re hanging out with him, all of his attention is on you.”
All said, Salley still counts herself a single woman.
Why Salley Carson and West Wilson sparked dating rumors
Rumors first surfaced about the two Bravolebs in October, soon after Salley shared a bunch of Instagram photos of them at Williams-Brice Stadium, where the University of Oklahoma faced off with Salley’s alma mater, the University of South Carolina.

It was interesting enough that the pair went to the football game with Southern Hospitality’s Emmy Sharrett and her recent fiancé, Will Kulp, leading some to believe it was a double date. But what really tipped off the rumor mill was a photo of West licking the side of Salley’s head as she gave her best kissy face for the camera.
Days later, West clarified on the Show Me Something podcast that he was only in town for business and had reached out to Will — who happens to attend USC — about local recommendations.
“I had to do a Captain Morgan event at the University of South Carolina on Saturday. And [Salley] went there,” West explained. “[Will] lives in Columbia… So I was like, ‘Yo, I’m gonna be in town. Show me where to go.’ And they just took me out to all the college bars, and it was really fun … just a lot of cheap bars and a zillion college kids running around … I will never complain that my job is to fly to host a tailgate for the day.”
Is Salley Carson dating anyone?
Salley is still single, and while she might have eyes for Craig as Southern Charm continues — hot tub rumors and all — the Sewing Down South founder recently set the record straight about their relationship on the Dec. 18 episode on Andy Cohen’s Sirius XM series, Radio Andy.
“Salley’s wonderful,” Craig said. “She’s just — I’ve always just seen her as like a friend and a sister.”

Who is West Wilson dating?
West, meanwhile, may (or may not) be a little more open about his love life in the upcoming Season 10 of Summer House, according to his official cast bio: “[West is] ready to date again and prioritize his happiness as he moves into his first solo apartment. Will West be able to confidently date in front of his housemates, or will he find himself retreating into a shell when things get complicated?”
