Scheana Shay is confident that Brittany Cartwright “got her sparkle back.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum shared the update during a recent appearance on Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast. Near the end of the conversation, Scheana was asked if she had formally met Brittany’s new flame, Brandon Hanson. The former SURver was hesitant to directly answer the question, as she wasn’t sure what Brittany had publicly revealed at the time.
“I don’t know what she has said,” Scheana told the Next Gen NYC cast member. “So, I know it gets me in trouble when I comment on my friends’ stuff before things are out there about them.”

While she declined to dish on the Brandon topic, Scheana reassured listeners that Brittany was in a really great place.
“All I will say is this — I said this on a radio show yesterday: I am extremely happy for where Brittany is in her life right now,” Scheana said. “I love her so much. But I will say that the position she’s in in life right now, she deserves it. She’s extremely happy. And I was over at her house the other day hanging out, and she’s got her sparkle back. I just saw it in her eyes. And it just makes me so happy. Fully support.”

Brittany was romantically linked to Brandon back in August, about a year after she filed for divorce from Jax Taylor. Romance rumors surged shortly after, when The Valley’s Kristen Doute reposted a photo of her and fiancé Luke Broderick having dinner with Brittany and Brandon.

Brittany addressed her romantic life during the August 23 episode of her When Reality Hits podcast, confirming she was dating a new guy.
“Not going to go too much into that yet, but you’ll probably hear more about him soon,” she said. “But yeah, it’s all good things. I’m just feeling really happy. I can’t stop smiling. I’ve been feeling really, really good lately.”

Fast-forward to September 9, when Brittany provided clarification on the nature of her and Brandon’s relationship.
“We’re not technically boyfriend and girlfriend just yet,” she told TMZ. “He’s a great person, great father, just all-around a good person. He’s making me happy. We’re just focused on having fun and doing our thing right now. I really like him.”

Brittany — who shares a 4-year-old son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, with Jax — said she had met Brandon 15 years ago, when she was still living in Kentucky. Brittany didn’t specify how or when she and Brandon reconnected, but said they were “having fun” in their new chapter.
“He’s a great person,” she recently told TooFab. “I like just enjoying time right now. We’ll see where it goes.”
