Scheana Shay and Brock Davies have two official wedding anniversaries in August. And the Vanderpump Rules alums accidentally forgot them this year.
Although both dates are within days of each other, Scheana admitted on an Aug. 29 episode of her podcast that both she and Brock “didn’t realize” that it was their anniversary until it happened. “I have to be honest, because, OK, we have two anniversaries,” she explained.
Both Scheana and Brock had been so focused on their plans to travel to Las Vegas to attend a Backstreet Boys concert with their friends that weekend that their wedding date slipped their minds. Scheana didn’t realize that it was the anniversary of their Mexico wedding until The Valley‘s Janet Caperna’s mom texted her “Happy Anniversary.” “And I’m like, I look at the date and I go, ‘Oh my God, I forgot it,'” Scheana admitted.
She then proceeded to ask Brock if he could remember the significance of the day. “I’m like, ‘Honey, what is the date?’ And he looks and he’s like, ‘Oh, is it our anniversary?'” she recalled. “I’m like, ‘Oh you forgot?’ Like, ‘How dare you forget?’ He’s like, ‘Wait, you remembered?'” she joked.

She continued on the podcast, admitting that “in reality, we forgot that it was our anniversary, probably because I didn’t have it on the calendar. And then Brock asked why it wasn’t on the calendar.”
“And I said, ‘I don’t know, I might have taken it off the calendar a couple of years ago when I was mad at you, because I didn’t want to remember that date,'” she noted.

Although both Brock and Scheana forgot their anniversary this year, both of them are committed to making their marriage work. In July, Scheana published her memoir, My Good Side, where she admitted that Brock had a “sexual affair” with another woman in 2020.
Brock took to Instagram on July 25, where he reiterated his devotion to his wife and their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, in a letter penned to Scheana after she opened up about the affair. “I understand the road to healing is going to be rough,” he wrote. “We have faced hard truths due to my actions, and you have stood strong. Together, we have rebuilt something real, not as parents, but as partners.”

“I am so proud of where we are, and I do not take a moment of it for granted,” he concluded.
