Scheana Shay is coming clean about her past relationships as well as her husband Brock Davies’ affair in her new memoir, My Good Side.
In fact, the Vanderpump Rules alum is not holding back when it comes to talking about her relationship with her former flame, actor Eddie Cibrian (who was married at the time). Or holding back when talking about her relationship with her husband and the affair that he had in 2020, while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies.
In a new interview with Us Weekly, Scheana admitted that she was aware of the irony of her having a relationship with a married man, when her own husband cheated on her years later. “It really felt like I got my karma,” she admitted.
“Did I deserve for [Brock to cheat on me?] No, but I told myself that I did,” she added.
In an excerpt of My Good Side, published in Glamour earlier this month, Scheana revealed that Brock admitted to cheating on her two years after the affair occurred in 2020. Brock had the affair while they were living in San Diego during the pandemic, with someone whom he had known before their relationship had occurred.

Why did Scheana Shay reveal Brock Davies’ affair in her memoir?
Scheana admitted to Us Weekly that she went “back and forth” about including Brock’s affair in the book. “It started as absolutely not,” she said. “It was an eight-month conversation [with Brock]. After several therapy sessions and really talking about it, we decided that this book would be inauthentic if we didn’t put it all in.”
“I’d rather it come out in my own words, because, unfortunately, there was another person involved in this situation, and at any point in time, she could come forward,” she added.

Scheana also addressed Brock’s cheating to issues she had in her relationship with ex-husband, Mike Shay, who texted another woman during their marriage. She told Us Weekly, “Had there been no kid or, honestly, had I found out when he did it … 100 percent, without a doubt, I would have left. I’ve always been a person who said, ‘If I’m ever cheated on, I would leave.’ My ex-husband [Mike Shay] had an emotional affair, which honestly could be worse than physical, but this was such new territory for me to navigate.”

Scheana and Brock are still together. But, she noted to the publication that she is working on her relationship with Brock “every single day.” “I will forever have insecurities,” she said.

“Just the other day, I saw him swipe and delete a text, and I’m like, ‘What was that?’ And he’s like, ‘Seriously, Scheana?’ But I genuinely believe he would never do anything like that again,” she continued. “I do trust him. I have forgiven him…We’ve put in the work in couple’s therapy. We have an open line of communication.”
