When it comes to Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay and her husband, Brock Davies, it’s a home run.
Over the weekend, the bestselling My Good Side author was tasked with “throwing out the first pitch” for the San Diego Padres, and she memorialized the achievement with a handful of pics on her Instagram Stories.
Scheana started by warming up on the field of S.D.’s Petco Park, before throwing the first ball at Sunday’s MLB event where the home team went head-to-head with the Colorado Rockies. It was “Good as Gold,” as Scheana captioned over the pitcher’s mound, and a win for the Padres.
Unsurprisingly, the former SUR-ver and friend of The Valley had tons of support for the once-in-a-lifetime pitch. In one photo, Scheana and Brock gave their best peace signs ahead of the game, and their 3-year-old daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, was later spotted waving to cameras when standing in the same spot where Scheana put her throwing arm to good use.
All three brought their team spirit with customized white, brown, and gold Padres jerseys with their names on the back.

Why Scheana Shay recently forgot her and husband Brock Davies’ anniversary
Brock’s support of his wife’s latest career move comes after the “Good as Gold” singer forgot their three-year anniversary. “I have to be honest, because, OK, we have two anniversaries,” she said on the Aug. 29 episode of her Scheananigans podcast, explaining that one celebrates the couple’s legal union on Aug. 28, 2021, and the other commemorates their Aug. 23, 2022 event in Mexico, as showcased on VPR Season 10.

According to Scheana, the couple had been so preoccupied by a Backstreet Boys concert in Las Vegas, they both forgot until The Valley’s Janet Caperna’s mother texted her best wishes. She admitted she “might have taken it off the calendar” when “mad” at Brock.

The New Zealand-raised personal trainer and DIY rescuer took a social media break following Scheana’s memoir-based revelation that Brock cheated while she was pregnant with their daughter.
Following the bombshell report, the husband said on July 25, “For the last two years, we have been privately doing the hard work of rebuilding what I broke. You have seen me as a husband and as a father, and that work will never stop. This moment is about publicly owning and taking accountability for my failures. Just to be clear, I’m not going anywhere.”
But his social media did go dark for about a month. When he returned on Aug. 26, he announced he was “back” after reflecting on his past “actions.”
Furthermore, “I started playing the piano around the house, I threw myself into a few projects, and just tried to search for something that felt right. But through that process, I realized something: I was already doing what served me and my family best. I was building, creating, and sharing my content with you guys — the building content.”
